Question: Can I use these lamps if I do not have an Alexa at home?
Answer: Yes. Without an Alexa or Google Home device, these lamps are controllable with the Sylvania Bluetooth App.
Question: Do i need Bluetooth to setup bulb?
Answer: Yes
Question: Is this bulb suitable for outside?
Answer:Most probably. It is an LED light, which does not get hot, where some outside rain or water, can fracture the bulb. BUT, it still requires 115vac, and that can be a dangerous situation if the socket, or wiring, is exposed to severe water situations.
